we said zai jian...

It's been 3 days now since we said "zai jian" (see you later in Chinese) to my family.

And the past 3 days have been really HARD.

I knew it would be hard to see them go, but didn't realize the emotions would still be lingering so strongly 3 days later.

Almost a year...  that was a long time to go without seeing them.

A really long time.

And it's hard to think we may do that again.

Emily says she misses her Mimi and Pappy about 20 times a day.  And that's hard, too.

Hoping to head home for Christmas.  REALLY, REALLY hoping.

We will see...

Until then, we will miss you family, and we can't wait until the day we zai jian, hasta luego, or see you later!
